DDPlayer was created for home studio enthusiasts who need to test out their compositions on a media player that is not full of bells and whistles. This one definitely has no bells and we don't even know what a whistle is! No equalizer, sound effects, bass boost, enhancements of any kind.
Why would you want a boring media player like that? Because you need to test your finished songs out on a player that plays "flat". Everyone uses different equalizer settings, bass/treble settings and a lot of people do not even realize that their beloved WMP may be boosting bass, treble or both!
The player has an Oscilloscope display which tells you about where your level is. IE: If you have the volume truned all the way up and the scope hardly moes, you might want to render the audio again at a higher volume.
